I must admit there are times when I get angry at those who disagree with me. I do my best to listen to others and try to respect where they are coming from. I have no monopoly on the truth. My thoughts and opinions are subject to the same limitations as any body else. Yet I do put time and effort into my thoughts and opinions. I don’t arrive at them haphazardly. I try to be disciplined in my approach to differences. Don’t give sway to impulse or knee jerk reactions. Don’t scheme how I can show every one else I am right and every one else is wrong. That is a waist of time and energy. Life is too short for that kind of nonsense. I also don’t need to get into control games.
