It takes courage to be a prophet. People will say, “Who are you to talk out? By what authority do you speak?” People like to hear compliments, not criticisms, but we need prophets to tell us the truth, even if it hurts. Babies require lullabies, but adults require the facts served straight up. Don’t expect thanks if you’re a prophet because they receive no honor in their hometown. You can’t win for losing, but prophets have a mission to call it as they see it, and they are true to their mission.
