Spiritual Highway

Whatever happened to summer? In tribute to the last day of summer, I played a Beach Boys album. Later that evening, I noticed how early it was getting dark. The seasons have definitely changed. Summer the season of growth has yielded to autumn the season of harvest. I miss the long carefree days of summer, but harvest is important too. Fall is a working season, a time to get things done. It is a doers season. The chill in the air beckons action. But what to do? I know too many people run around frantically doing things like a chicken with its head cut off. That is plan silly and it wares a person out physically, mentally, and spiritually. For our well being, it is important toast aside time to confide with Jesus, the great confidant.
