I truly love my job. i was very happy I was able two work full days. I hate being cooped up home. Having said this, I really do enjoy my weekends. I get to sleep in late and have lazy mornings–sweet!
I took part in one of those robot telephone surveys. The survey was especially interested in my view of the future. I try to be positive and optimistic. I see tremendous promise in the future–a further diverse nation with increased opportunity for all. I do see a number of challenges facing us in the short-term most notably the discord and division in this country. Some how this country has to learn to live together and to treat others with respect. It needs to reclaim civility and proper manners, and remember we can disagree but still be friends.
I will do the usual Saturday routine, that includes going to mass. My weekends wouldn’t be complete without going to mass. It helps bring a spiritual focus to my week, especially through receiving Eucharist. Going to mass helps me get in touch with the great joy in my life–Christ came into our life, suffered our common lot with out sin, went to the cross for me taking away my sins, and on the last day I will through belief in him share in his resurrection. This brings wholeness to my life when in other ways is so incomplete. It gives purpose and direction to my life and having purpose and direction to my life is very important to me. It saves me from a life of aimless and sin.
