When I was a youth, I thought I knew, do, and change everything. Now that I am a senior, I have learned how little I know, do, or change. It is truly humbling, yet I still believe my life has purpose, meaning, and I will make a difference in this world. My spirituality has changed. At one time, everything seemed so fundamental. Then things became so systematic with everything being in the process. Now everything can be summed up with a relationship with the divine, fraternity and solidarity with humanity, and stewardship of creation. Everything is so quiet, gentle, tender, and colorful. The sun is shining. The sky is blue. Children are playing, and birds are chirping.
