Spiritual Highway

The morning broke at sunrise, and the day went by as the sun danced across the skies until it rested in the Pacific Ocean. During that time, a lot has happened to me. I woke up and did my morning routine that included working out. I texted, emailed, and phoned friends, then I went to work at my living room computer table. I wrote and attended Zoom sessions. The sessions allow me to connect with others, very important during this pandemic. All too often loneliness has cast its long cold shadow on my life, and I have no desire now to feel its pain.

My passion is writing, to organize and integrate my thoughts from my mind with the feelings of my heart, to type the words into the keyboard, to send it off to my readers, and to lastly wait on their response. My readers have little notion how impatient I am for their feedback.

At the end of a day well-lived, you can feel exhausted and worn out. You can sit down in your easy chair, smile and drink your favorite beverage. You can say to yourself, job well done. Such is another wonderful day in this thing we call life.
